Powdercoating: 
The powdercoating process is carried out in Fletcher Aluminium’s purpose built plant in Auckland.  The plant has two powder coating lines, both of which utilize Swiss-made spray guns and vertical recipricators.  These are programmable and can be fully automated.  The plant is ISO 9001-2000 accredited by TELARC and carries Registered Applicator status for the application of Dulux and Interpon powders supplied by Orica Powdercoating and Akzo Nobel respectively. 

Fletcher Aluminium maintains rigorous testing routines and compliance reviews to ensure all relevant standards are being met.  The standards utlized are: 

WANZ:	Specification for powder coatings on architectural aluminium products (Enduracolour).
AS3715:	Metal finishing – Thermoset powder coatings for architectural applications.

For specific and/or large projects, Orica Powder Coating and/or Akzo Nobel will provide a warranty in line with their warranty requirements.   Purchasers should please approach Fletcher Aluminium prior to placing such orders.

Both Dulux and Interpon powder coatings carry warranties covering a maintainable service life of 25 years, film integrity of 10 years and colour integrity of 10 years.

Anodising:
Fletcher Aluminium operates a TELARC registered ISO 9001-2000 in-house anodising plant that maintains rigorous quality assurance controls to ensure consistency of colour, film build and seal quality and meets all the requirements of WANZ SFA 3503-01-03 -Anodic Oxide Coatings On Wrought Aluminium For External Architectural Applications.

On request prior to placement of order, Fletcher Aluminium will provide customers with a 10 year written warranty in conjunction with a minimum requirement of 20 microns.
