Powdercoating is used extensively within the aluminium industry for both decorative and protective purposes on a wide range of products.
The powdercoating process is carried out in Fletcher Aluminium’s purpose built plant in Auckland. The plant has two powder coating lines, both of which utilize Swiss-made spray guns and vertical recipricators. These are programmable and can be fully automated. The plant is ISO 9001-2000 accredited by TELARC and carries Registered Applicator status for the application of Dulux and Interpon powders, supplied by Orica Powdercoating and Akzo Nobel Ltd.
Fletcher Aluminium offers 30 standard powdercoat colours (see our Colour Scape section), however many other colours are available if required.
