To enable the office/study to become a place of concentration it is important to have sufficient natural light and sound control.
Adequate light and ventilation will allow for a healthy work environment and this can be achieved by installing sliding, awning or casement windows or louvres.
Ventilation can be improved with the passive ventilation system providing continuous airflow, even with the windows closed, creating a fresh productive environment.
Restrictor stays fitted unobtrusively in the window cavity will add security.
Sill height is also an important detail to remember when designing your work space. Remember to factor in desk height and width when designing the window area. You don’t want your desk or work station to be higher than your window sill!
